About Robert

Born and raised in southern California, I grew up racing 1/4 Midgets at Pomona Speedway, in Pomona California, and watching World Of Outlaws Sprint Cars at Ascot Speedway, in Gardena California. My favorite drivers being Bubby Jones and a young and upcoming driver named Jeff Gordon. I loved watching NASCAR on TV with my dad, my favorite NASCAR driver being in the Tide Machine #17, Darrell Waltrip; but I cannot forget the Intimidator, Dale Earnhardt! When I turned 18, I joined the Air Force and spent the next 20 years serving my country in Europe, the Middle East, and most recently here in San Antonio Texas. I retired in December of 2022, and now call Boerne, Texas my hometown. In 2015, while stationed at Fort Gordon, GA, I attended the IMSA Petit Lemans at Road Atlanta and was instantly drawn the Weathertech Sports Car series; so much so I became infatuated with the C7 Corvette and have spent the last 7 years upgrading and transforming my 2017 Z06 into a road course weapon.

In 2022 I met Darrell Boyd at a Neighborhood barbeque, where he had his IMCA modified on display. We started talking about our respective backgrounds, and my experience in quarter midgets and growing up watching World of Outlaws and 360 Sprints at Perris Auto Speedway; and my affinity for racing. Darrell invited me to start helping him with his IMCA modified on the weekends at I-37 Speedway. Two years and many late nights later, I decided to purchase a Limited Mod from Darrell and will be starting on this new adventure in 2024.
